A Small Project with a Big Difference
Not every renovation has to be grand to be meaningful.
A friend moving into a retirement village inherited what had been a dark, dingy cat run — a narrow space with a tired roof and worn fencing. It was functional once, but hardly inviting.
Trevor looked at it differently. Instead of patching up what was there, he suggested removing the old fence entirely and building a covered outdoor area with a low feature fence to open the view and bring in light.
The result?
A fresh, airy outdoor space that feels welcoming, practical, and surprisingly stylish — a place to enjoy morning coffee, sunshine, and the garden view.
Before and After

Why It Matters
This project shows more than just carpentry skills — it highlights Trevor’s ability to listen, problem-solve, and adapt to what really improves a client’s lifestyle.
For the homeowner, it was the difference between a cluttered side yard they avoided, and a bright little retreat they love using every day.
For Trevor, it’s a reminder that no job is out of bounds — whether it’s a full extension or a small custom fix, the goal is always the same: create spaces people enjoy living in.
Ready to transform your own space?
Whether it’s a forgotten corner, a small fix, or a major renovation, Trevor can help turn it into something special.
